The home of the Bates baseball team boasts an outdoor batting cage, pro-style dugouts and a drainage system that makes the field usable as early as the last week in March. Indoor practices are held in the Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building, which has a batting cage and room for a full infield practice.
Gray Cage - Winter Indoor Clinics
The Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building is Bates' second-largest indoor athletic facility. Before the construction of Merrill Gymnasium, the Cage was used for indoor track events and athletic practices. Renovated in 1992, it now houses a large, rubberized, multipurpose surface used for intramural sports and indoor team practices.
Leahey Field is on the right. Parking is available in the John Bertram Hall lot or on Central Ave.
